Jungle Expedition in Indonesia with Operation Wallacea

Hi there,

Just a quick update for the ones that don’t know yet… I am going to join tomorrow an expedition in the Jungle with Operation Wallacea  a conservation research organisation. Basically is another work experience that I always wanted to do and now is the time to go for it 🙂

I will be spending my next 4 weeks in Pulau Buton (Sulawesi), in one of the forest camps, helping out the organization and working as an expedition medic. It is a very remote area of Indonesia so in case anyone needs medical assistance I will be there to take care of the team.

I will be leaving with a team of ecologists, scientists, academics and postgraduate researchers who are specialists in various aspects of biodiversity.

I am not sure what I can expect from this but I feel is going to be a life time opportunity in such a pure area, embracing the nature and going back to the basics of life.

I will be out of internet and communications for the next 4 weeks so sit back and relax, in August I will return full of amazing experiences to share with you…

For now I leave you with the promotional video about the expedition so you can have an idea what I will be doing.

Take Care and wait for me, I will be back…
